Meet Meghan Peters, Director of Disaster Response Logistics & Emergency Services
Meghan is working diligently in times of need to support first responders and those effected by disaster. Without her tireless efforts our Disaster Relief program and Emergency Services would not be possible! When you see her around the office or in the field helping those effected by life, please give her a big THANK YOU!
Mexico Beach, FL
Hurricane Micheal
In the midst of complete devastation Carob Services and Trinity UMC of Upper Arlington, drove through the night to stand next to our members. We made access into structures, recovered valuable goods, secured their belongings and began to organize their future plans. 72 Hours, 2,000 Miles, and friendships that will last a lifetime. The good Lord gave us the ability to help others, our families made it possible, and life gave us the opportunity. We just have to say yes.
Dayton, OH Tornados
When tornados hit Dayton Ohio in the Spring of 2019, Carob Services was on the ground in the early days performing wellness checks and assisting residents with prayer and manpower. Some elderly residents could dig out their possessions. We were there to help with the basics, offer prayers and support, and begin the process of putting life back together.
Preparing for the Next One
Carob Services is looking to the future to find ways to assist our neighbors, both near and far in times of emergencies. Small scale or full scale natural disasters can leave lives devastated. In this critical moment few know what resources they have or how to access them. We hope to be boots on the ground assisting you with life’s essentials. “When life has taken everything, sometimes a hug from a friend can be just the reminder about how much still remains.” -Andrew Peters, Carob Services Founder
