Testimonials

Life can take an unexpected twist or turn at a moment’s notice. Such was the case with my life when besieged by a category 5 hurricane named Michael on October 10, 2018. . . my little town was pretty much totally destroyed. No one could live there. When I arrived and looked at the damage, I didn’t know what to do, how to do it, where to turn, who to call for help. I was so very blessed that Andrew Peters and three others from my church made the choice to drive 14 + hours to get to me in order to help. There was no power, no water, and the temperatures were in the 90’s. The team arrived, assessed the situation and immediately went to work to pack up what belongings could be salvaged, tarp my roof, make a temporary railing to access the second floor and move my things to my daughter’s house over an hour away.

In looking back at this situation, I seriously don’t know how I would have ever done any of this by myself. This team was only there Monday and Tuesday after the hurricane but took care of not only the physical needs of packing and moving but also gave me much needed emotional support . The love and care shown to me in a very dark period of my life will never be forgotten.

I can attest to the work ethic, the leadership, and the overall skill of Andrew Peters. He knows how to organize and prioritize. He knows when to stop and just listen. He knows when to share a laugh or a cry. I trust his judgment and expertise. I am a 72 year old senior myself so trust me when I say he is willing to go the extra mile to help you, no matter what you are facing. You will be blessed by him and you can trust him.

Story of the Carob Tree

One day Rabbi Choni was journeying on the road and he saw a man planting a carob tree; he asked him, “How long does it take for this tree to bear fruit?” The man replied: “Seventy years.” He then further asked him: “Are you certain that you will live another seventy years?” The man replied: “I found a ready grown carob trees in the world; as my forefathers planted these for me so I too plant these for my children.”

…Choni learned that one’s accomplishments are not necessarily valued for what they produce in the here and now. The days of the life of man, as it says in Iyov (20:8), indeed “shall fly away like a dream.” It is what remains afterwards that is the judge of accomplishment and success.
